The city of Chicago Small Business Center is bringing its On the Road Small Business Expo that day, with a host of free resources and workshops to benefit business owners. The expo runs from 10 am to 2 pm at Truman College, 1145 W. Wilson Ave., in the Buena Park neighborhood.
The expo is free and offers the following resources:

- FREE Tax Clinic: One-on-One counseling sessions provided by Center for Economic Progress (CEP)
- FREE Law Clinic: Legal advice and support provided by The Community Law Project
- FREE Networking Hour: Connect and exchange ideas with likeminded entrepreneurs provided by Chicago’s Office of the City Treasurer from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.

- Free Workshops, including: Roadmap to Business Financing, Presented by Fifth Third Bank & Accion Chicago. In order for businesses to start or grow, financing is often needed. Attend this workshop, and you will obtain the pathway to financial success including traditional and non traditional credit sources and how to best prepare for when your company needs capital most.
