Black Business Month: Business Education Panel

Every August, we celebrate Black Business Month in the 19th Ward by shining a light on the brilliance, resilience, and impact of Black-owned businesses throughout Beverly, Morgan Park, and Mount Greenwood. Led by the Community Connections Committee, our Black Business Month programming creates intentional spaces for connection, collaboration, and community-building — with events that inspire, support, and empower.
Join the CCC for a business education panel about the intersection of succession planning, finances, and technology on August 21, 8-9:30 am at Beverly Bank’s Community Room on their lower level. Panelists include Darvell Jones of Levraddigans, Kecia Ellis Bobbitt of Primerica, James Harris of Chicago’s BACP, and Stephanie Kendricks of Beverly Bank.
Parking is available in Beverly Bank’s two remote parking lots and Franconello:
- Parking lot next to 7-11 (approximate address: 2417 W. 103rd St.)
- Parking lot across Western Ave. from Beverly Bank
- Franconello Italian Restaurant parking lot, 10222 S. Western Ave. (must exit by 10:30 am)
